  • Subtle Notes: Hints of currant or other dark berries add a touch of sweetness and complexity. Some reviewers also note a "slight metallic flavor" or a dry apricot finish.

  • Astringency: It can be brisk or moderately astringent, a quality that is mellowed nicely by adding milk.
